Cruise Croatia has announced a murder mystery-themed sailing hosted by Wilfred Webster, star of the BBC show, ‘The Traitors’.
The seven-night voyage, departing August 10, 2024, from the Croatian city of Split, will take place on the luxury small ship, MV Memories. 38 guests will hope to survive the cut, with Wilf hosting the group across the week.
The longest-standing player will be rewarded with an all-expenses paid, seven-night, luxury small-ship cruise to Greece, departing in 2025 worth £10,000.
The murder mystery at sea will involve guests being bumped off on a cabin-by-cabin basis. But the good news is that anyone who suffers at the hands of their fellow players will still get to enjoy the rest of their holiday, rather than being made to walk the plank.
The itinerary starts in the Roman-built city of Split and takes in the islands of Hvar, Korcula, Vis, and Brac, finishing in the UNESCO-listed city of Dubrovnik. The cruise includes a visit to two stunning national parks, wine tasting, oyster harvesting, and more. Prices start from £2,395 per person, which includes half-board with a daily buffet breakfast and either a three-course lunch or dinner, private transfers, and multiple escorted excursions.
The ship boasts private balcony cabins and an onboard jacuzzi, while the cruise has daily swim stops and complimentary use of paddle boards, sea kayaks and snorkeling equipment.
Wilfred Webster said: “I am thrilled to be hosting this murder mystery-themed cruise. Playing this game out at sea will allow people to fully immerse themselves in the experience, as well as enjoy the beautiful cruise itself.”
Graham Carter, co-founder and commercial director for Cruise Croatia said: “We’re incredibly excited to give guests the opportunity to combine our luxury Croatia cruise and a murder mystery. With Wilf joining the guests onboard, this will offer a truly unique, interactive holiday experience. And we promise there will also be plenty of time for everyone onboard to relax and enjoy the wonderful Croatia coastline.”
