As in the previous year, Zurich Airport is the winner of the Airport Service Quality (ASQ) Award in the category 25-40 million passengers in Europe.
In another year dominated by the corona pandemic, Zurich Airport managed to meet the expectations of its passengers and once again won the ASQ Award as “Best European airport in the category 25-40 million passengers”. The ASQ Award is presented annually by Airports Council International (ACI) World, the international umbrella organization for airport operators.
The award recognises airports around the world which, based on the opinion of their own passengers, offer the best customer experience. The questionnaire comprises 34 different categories such as infrastructure, security control, catering facilities or hygiene measures. The survey shows that Zurich Airport manages to flexibly adapt to the circumstances and put the needs of its passengers first. After 2006, 2008, 2018, 2019 and 2020, Zurich Airport once again takes first place in the ASQ Award.
“I am delighted and very grateful that we were able to win the ASQ Award again this year as the best airport in Europe of our size. Like the previous year, 2021 also brought challenges and the pandemic had a significant impact on events. I am all the more pleased that our passengers feel comfortable at Zurich Airport, appreciate our services and our efforts are noticed. This award also honours our 280 partner companies and all employees at the airport, both in front of and behind the scenes.”
