Kota Kinabalu in the Sabah State of Malaysia will host the World Tourism Conference 2022 (WTC 2022).
WTC is an exclusive triennial event organised by Malaysia with the cooperation of the United Nations agency World Tourism Organisation (UNWTO). Some 700 international and domestic delegates are expected to attend the event, themed “Tourism Futures Reimagined”, which will be held from Nov 28 to Nov 30 2022.
The conference aims to provide an interdisciplinary platform which champions thought leadership on tourism futures and strategies driving tourism’s recovery and resilience in a post-pandemic world. WTC 2022 will feature a line-up of world-renowned speakers in four sessions:
Session 1: Decoding Tourism Futures – Foresight and Scenarios;
Session 2: Discovering Niche Opportunities for Growth;
Session 3: Redefining Tourism Success – Inspiring Stories;
Session 4: Rebuilding Tourism Resilience and Readiness.
