ABU DHABI — Very soon UAE citizens who hold ordinary passports can travel to Japan without the need to obtain a prior visa, according to the emirates news agency – WAM reports.
From 1st November 2022, UAE passport holders can stay in Japan for up to 30 days each visit for the purpose of tourism or work, without the need to submit an application at the Embassy of Japan in Abu Dhabi, apply for an exemption, or pay any fees.
Entry requirements to Japan still apply,
Citizens of Japan can already obtain a visa on arrival to the UAE.
