All passengers travelling to Norway irrespective of their vaccination status must take a COVID‑19 PCR test on arrival.
For EEA/Schengen and United Kingdom citizens and residents
Entry requirements
EEA citizens, foreign nationals residing in the EEA area and residents of the United Kingdom and Switzerland can enter Norway. The entry restriction has also been lifted for residents of purple countries (countries outside the EEA/Schengen that FHI believes may have somewhat milder measures).
Quarantine and testing requirements
Passengers travelling from EEA/Schengen and United Kingdom countries: No requirement
Passengers travelling from all other countries:
Fully vaccinated people: no requirements
Non‑vaccinated people: must present a valid negative COVID‑19 test (either PCR or antigenic) taken within 24 hours of departure, and self‑quarantine until tested negative (at least 72 hours after arrival)
Passengers below 18 years old: no testing and self‑quarantine requirements
Other country nationals and residents
You have a valid residence permit, or you have a right of residence in Norway
You have a valid visitor’s visa or entry visa to Norway
You have the right to visit Norway without a visa
You are going to apply for protection (asylum) in Norway
Quarantine and testing requirements
Fully vaccinated passengers (at this time only EU DCC vaccine certificate is recognised): No requirement
Non‑vaccinated passengers must present a negative COVID 19 test (either PCR or Anti‑genic) result for a test taken within 24 hours of the scheduled departure time of the first flight. These passengers must also take a COVID‑19 test on arrival and self‑quarantine for 10 days
Passengers below 18 years old: no testing and self‑quarantine requirement
Required forms
All passengers above 16 years old must register online or through the official app within 72 hours of departure. Upon completing registration, passengers will receive a receipt which must be presented to the police at the border control. Passengers who are not able to complete the form online can download and print the form. Please note that the border processing time for passengers arriving with printed forms will be much longer.

Exceptions to entry requirements
All travellers entering Norway from South Africa, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Mozambique, Lesotho, Eswatini, or Malawi must present a negative COVID‑19 test (PCR or rapid anti‑genic) result for a test taken in the last 24 hours before arrival, or in the last 24 hours before the departure time of the first flight. Travellers must take another test on arrival, then again after days 1 and 7. Travellers must also complete the quarantine period at a quarantined hotel. These requirements also apply if you are fully vaccinated or have recovered from COVID‑19.
