Abroad Travel resume from 31st March: Saudi Arabia

RIYADH – Saudi Arabia informed of the revoke of international travel restrictions from March 31, the state news agency (SPA) said on Friday.

The Interior Ministry also highlighted the decision includes fully lifting the ban on all international flights and resume all lands and seaports services, Following that, Saudi Arabia residents are allowed to travel overseas and return to the Kingdom.

The delay of the lifting of restrictions that was speculated to happen this month was because of the COVID-19 outbreak and the spread of the new strain of the virus in some nations.

The ministry also mentioned that the decision was kept until the end of March, with the purpose to get the required quantities of COVID-19 vaccines to cover the entire kingdom, the opening-up steps have been the results of the reduction of daily infections to below 200 cases.
