DUBAI: Abu Dhabi Tourism on Tuesday has included Saudi Arabia on its travel ‘green list.’The Kingdom’s inclusion means guests will now not quarantine themselves upon arrival within the UAE’s capital, though they’d still have to follow COVID-19 testing rules.
Different nations on the list are Australia, Brunei, China, Greece, Greenland, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Mauritius, New Zealand, Singapore, Taiwan, Tajikistan, Thailand, Uzbekistan, and Vietnam.
As a part of Abu Dhabi’s updated coronavirus rules, worldwide passengers are now allowed to go to the emirate beginning December 24.
Authorities stated worldwide vacationers will probably be required to show a negative COVID-19 test result received within 96 hours of their departure and should take another test upon arrival in Abu Dhabi, the emirate’s Media Office announced.
“All vacationers will need to undertake a PCR test on day six if they are staying six or more consecutive days, as well as on day 12 if they are staying 12 or more consecutive days,” the Abu Dhabi Emergency Crisis and Disasters Committee stated.
Vacationers visiting from nations, not on the green list will need to quarantine for 10 days and the list will be reviewed fortnightly, the committee clarified.
