Flight operations at Srinagar airport restart on Sunday, after suspended on Saturday due to bad climate

Srinagar airport likely to resume international flight services

Flight operations recommence at the Srinagar airport from Sunday, the operation temporarily suspended a day before due to snowfall in kashim valley,

On Saturday all flights operation at the airport were canceled whether its incoming flight or outgoing flight, due to bad climate and very low visibility.

However, as the climate was dry on Sunday morning and the visibility improved, the flight operations had been restarted.

“Air traffic has resumed on the airport despite the fact that there are some delays,” an official of the Airports Authority of India (AAI) mentioned.

He mentioned the flight operations resumed after the runway was cleared and the visibility improved.

The runway was not available for flight operations on Saturday due to the accumulation of snow after the valley received the third snowfall of the month.
