The survey, which is based on over 15,000 responses from over 10,000 individuals from throughout 204 cities and carried out by online platform LocalCircles, also revealed that as many as 42 percent of the respondents didn’t have any journey plan for domestic travel at all.

LocalCircles has performed a survey to know the impact of this new strain of coronavirus on worldwide travel plans of Indians within the next three months.
The platform has noticed a rise in residents’ posts suggesting that many might hold back on their travel plans to any international nations as fear and nervousness of getting infected by this new strain as well as the potential of flight bans from different airline hubs like Dubai, Singapore, Paris, etc. has increased, LocalCirles stated in a release.
The survey also tried to know individuals plan to undertake domestic travel in the next three months as with decreasing case-loads and COVID fatigue setting in, many more have begun to journey since October, it mentioned.
Customers have been requested about their situation in regard to undertaking international travel within the next three months, according to the online platform.
“Local circle received 7,820 response, of which as many as 71 percent of customers mentioned that they don’t have any plans to undertake international travel within the next three months. whereas 2 percent mentioned they’ve bookings and can probably travel, and another 2 percent saying which have bookings however might cancel based on COVID situation,” it mentioned.
Also, as many as 16 per cent mentioned that they had plans however might not journey due to COVID, whereas 7 per cent mentioned they may journey based on coronavirus situation.

Overall, the survey signifies that the mutant coronavirus and associated flight bans have led to 66 percent of customers planning international journey within the next three months to hold back.
However, if India is able to contain the spread of Covid and the new virus mutations, the domestic journey is likely to be strong. And if that occurs, it appears probably that many might cancel their journey to Switzerland in favour of Dalhousie or Kashmir.
