Nestled along the coast in South Dade, the Deering Estate, a part of the Miami-Dade Parks system, is a cultural asset and historic site listed on the National Register of Historic Place. As a 21st-century museum destination for tourists and local residents, a variety of signature events, programs, tours and classes are offered year-round. Annual membership allows for year-round free admission to the Deering Estate during regular operating hours, as well as no-cost guided tours through the natural areas and free admission to select events, special tours and programs billed as general admission.
