Thailand aims $11 Billion Tourism Revenue in Second Half of 2022

Bangkok – Thailand’s government targets to generate 400 billion baht ($11 billion) in tourism revenue in the second half of the year, according to news agency reports.

After the spectacular result in tourism rebound in the first eight months of 2022, the Thailand government aims for 10 million foreign tourists this year, as per the agency report.

In the first quarter of 2022, Thailand’s reported 497,693 tourist arrival. In the second Quarter of 2022 Thailand sees massive growth in tourist arrival, the number of international visitor’s number reached 1,582,257.

The highest number of foreign arrival reported from Malaysia, India and Singapore.
