THAI launches New Flight Operations to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia

Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (THAI) is introducing flight operations on the route Bangkok-Jeddah v.v. which will be effective from 19 August 2022 onwards in response to the resumption of Thailand-Saudi Arabia relations. The new service will help enhance the economic and tourism sectors of both countries as Saudi Arabia is the connecting hub of the Middle East for Indochina, Australia, and Southeast Asia travellers.

Saudi Arabia, the largest country in the Middle East known as the gate to Mecca and other cities in the Middle East, offers abundant tourist attractions including Jeddah, a vacation city well-known for its fishery and seafood. Thailand is also a popular destination among Saudi Arabians with high economic potential who travel for cultural exploration, leisure, shopping, and medical services. Therefore, Jeddah flight operations will help further strengthen international relations, as well as contribute to the growth of local tourism and economy.

Starting on 19 August 2022, THAI will operate four weekly flights between Bangkok-Jeddah every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday with the following flight details:
