On Monday (November 14), Taiwan Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced that it will increase the weekly cap of arriving passengers to 200,000 people from December 1, 2022.
Taiwan Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) said that there is a steady decrease in the number of new cases across Taiwan and that the domestic coronavirus situation has stabilized and been brought under control.
Starting Oct. 13, Taiwan reopened its borders to all arriving visitors, raised the weekly inbound arrival quota from 60,000 to 150,000, and ended mandatory quarantine for those arrivals. Instead, inbound passengers are required to undertake seven days of self-initiated epidemic prevention.
