Brussels Airlines crew and pilots will go on a three-day strike from Thursday 23 June until Saturday 25 June, the airline company announced on Tuesday (Jun 21)
The press release issued by Brussels Airlines said, “533 flights were planned for the three affected days, serving 70,000 passengers”.
The Airline plan to keep around 40% of the original flight programme. The cancellations represent around 315 flights of which 38 are long-hauls and impact almost 40,000 passengers.
The Airline said they are looking for as many solutions as possible for the customers to rebook them on other flights, within Lufthansa Group and outside.
Currently, one solution is operating 3 long-haul aircraft (A330) to cover the need for 4 Nice flights and 6 Rome flights, the airline said.
