South Korea to drop quarantine requirement for fully vaccinated foreign travellers

Seoul: Starting From March 21, All foreign visitors to Korea who have completed their COVID-19 vaccinations ( fully vaccinated ) will be exempt from the seven-day self-quarantine, the country’s Health Ministry said on Friday (Mar 11).

Fully vaccinated people refer to only those who have received two vaccines of COVID-19 vaccines two weeks earlier but less than 180 days ago. However, vaccinated visitors from Pakistan, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, and Myanmar are excluded from the self-quarantine exemption.

However, international travellers will still need to take the rapid antigen tests twice six and seven days after entering South Korea.
