Solomon Airlines has confirmed an additional flight between Tarawa and Brisbane will now be departing on Saturday 18 June 2022 in addition to the current 6 June departure, subject to Government approvals.
Flight IE693 will depart on Monday 6 June, leaving from Tarawa at 11:00 am and arriving in Brisbane at 2:00 pm.
Flight IE606 will depart on Saturday 18 June, leaving from Tarawa at 6:00 pm, and arriving in Brisbane at 9:00 pm.
Passengers intending to book must have a visa to enter Australia or a transit visa and another flight departure within 72 hours of arrival. Passengers who are transiting in Australia within 8 hours to another country, may not require a visa but will need to advise of their connecting flight at the time of booking.
The airline urges all transit passengers to check the Australian Government website to confirm if a transit visa is needed and to check with their connecting airline or country of final destination for all required testing and documentation, as this will be required upon check-in in Tarawa.
The Australian Government requires that all passengers entering Australia have Government-issued proof of full COVID-19 vaccination and a Digital Passenger Declaration completed within 72 hours prior to departure.
