The Singapore Airlines (SIA) Group has announced Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL) services to Singapore from the following countries: Australia, Brunei, Cambodia, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Italy, Malaysia, the Maldives, the Netherlands, the Philippines, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Spain, Sri Lanka, Switzerland, Thailand, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, and the United States of America.
Please note that the SIA Group currently does not operate in Fiji, Finland, Israel, Qatar, and Sweden, which are included in Singapore’s VTL arrangements.
Expansion of VTL network and step up in flight frequencies to existing VTL destinations
SIA will be expanding its VTL network to progressively include Dubai, Hong Kong, New York (Newark), Penang, and Phuket from 25 February 2022. SIA will also step-up frequencies for flights between Singapore and several existing VTL destinations. These are Bandar Seri Begawan, Colombo, Male, and Phnom Penh.
Scoot, SIA’s low-cost subsidiary, will include Cebu, Chiang Mai, Clark, Davao, Hong Kong, Jeddah, Krabi, London (Gatwick), and Phuket to its VTL network. It will also increase the frequency of its flights between Singapore and Phuket.
With the addition of these new destinations, the SIA Group will operate VTL services from 47 cities in 25 countries to Singapore.
SIA customers with existing bookings will be notified if their flight has been designated as a VTL flight. Those who do not meet the VTL requirements may opt to rebook their flights or request a refund instead.
Customers may request to rebook or seek a refund of the unused portion of their ticket via our Assistance Request Form to submit their request. Those who require urgent assistance may also reach out to their local Singapore Airlines reservation office.
VTL Eligibility Criteria
For customers who wish to travel to Singapore via the VTL, they must take designated VTL flights and meet all other eligibility requirements to enter Singapore quarantine-free. Customers who fly on non-VTL flights will be subject to prevailing quarantine restrictions in Singapore.
Please note that with the exception of Malaysia, customers may travel from Singapore to VTL destinations on any SIA or Scoot flight, but must ensure that they meet the requirements to enter these countries. They are advised to regularly check the official websites of their destination countries for their latest entry requirements before their flights.
