Saudi Arabian Airlines (SAUDIA) resumed international flights to Austria’s capital city Vienna on Thursday, July 1st, 2021 with flight number SV151 departing on an Airbus A320 from King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah. This move comes as part of the gradual return of international flights while maintaining all necessary precautionary measures to ensure guest safety both onboard and at the airport.
SAUDIA offers direct flights between the Kingdom and Vienna eight times a week in both directions from King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh and King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah, with a combined total of 880 seats per week. The seating capacity, number of flights, and flight schedule are studied by a dedicated team in network planning and scheduling and is reviewed periodically to accommodate the needs of travelers.
SAUDIA extends a variety of services to its guests during its Vienna flights in accordance with the highest standards of hospitality. It also offers more than 220 diverse and integrated travel packages through its SAUDIA Holidays tourism program. The packages include hotel accommodation, transportation, and other services designed to enrich travelers’ experiences with the national air carrier.
Since flights commenced between the Kingdom and Vienna in 2018, there have been more than 640 flights carrying over 48.3 thousand guests in both directions.
