Saudi Airlines, the national carrier of the Kingdom, started operating (4) direct weekly flights from Riyadh and Jeddah to the Maldives, after it was passing through the capital of Sri Lanka, Colombo, as a stopover.
Through direct flights, different segments of Saudi Airlines guests can plan their vacations and enjoy the beaches of the Maldives during an extended weekend or for an entire week.
Flights to the Maldives are operated by its latest Boeing 777-300 and 787 Dreamliner aircraft, which include Business Class with fully reclining beds, and Economy Class with comfortable screens for every seat. Also, guests can enjoy entertainment content that includes more than 50,000 options through the in-flight entertainment system, to ensure the enjoyment of passengers during the direct flight, which lasts 5 hours.
The national carrier allows its guests, through its tourism program “Saudi Holidays”, the freedom to choose between pre-made vacation packages or design their own vacation according to the options they prefer, and guests can customize their trip through special packages to the Maldives, which include flights, hotels, and transportation between the airport and islands.
