Riviera Travel has launched its 2024 worldwide escorted tour collection, with a total of 27 itineraries available to book now.
242 departures are on sale, running from January to November, with 34 departures dedicated to solo travelers.
The worldwide collection covers Africa, Japan, the USA, South America, and the Far East. It includes:
* Ecuador and the Galapagos. A 16-day tour featuring visits to UNESCO World Heritage sites of Quito and colonial Cuenca, the Mindo Cloud Forest, Riobamba, Ingapirca, stays on the islands of San Cristobal and Santa Cruz, plus a rail journey on the Devil’s Nose Train. A choice of seven departures is available from £4799pp.
* The Silk Road. An 11-day tour featuring stays in Khiva, Bukhara, and Samarkand, and visits to Chorsu bazaar, Emir of Bukhara, Gijduvan, and Samarkand’s Registan Square. A choice of five departures is available from £2849pp.
* South Africa. A 15-night tour featuring visits to legendary Zulu War battlefields of Isandlwana and Rorke’s Drift, a full-day guided safari in the Kruger National Park, a three-night stay in cosmopolitan Cape Town, visits to Cape Town’s Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, Johannesburg’s Apartheid Museum and Blyde River canyon. A choice of ten departures is available from £2499.
Six South Africa tours exclusively for solo travelers are also on offer.
* Japan – Land of the Rising Sun. A 12-night stay taking in the famous sites of Tokyo, a journey on the high-speed bullet train, visits Hiroshima’s Peace Park and museum, Kyoto and Nara. A choice of ten departures is available from £3999.
Three dedicated solo tours of Japan are also available.
Prices include return flights and transfers; all accommodations; tours and visits; select meals; and an expert tour manager throughout.
Returning for 2024 are Riviera’s ‘Signature Tours’, available across 13 itineraries and 43 departures. These exclusive options are for groups of a maximum of 25 guests, and give them the opportunity to take advantage of up to three enhanced tour experiences.
