Puerto Rico updates entry requirements

Visitors will spend 21% more in Puerto Rico this year than in 2021

Puerto Rico updates its entry requirement for the travellers arriving on Island. Beginning February 2nd vaccinated travellers will no longer be required to present a negative test.

Unvaccinated travellers entering on domestic flights will still be required to show negative test results from the last two days or take one within 48 hours of arrival and must quarantine while awaiting results. Once they have a negative test, they can stop quarantining immediately. If a traveller is unvaccinated and does not get tested within the 48-hour window, they are required to quarantine for 7 days and be subject to applicable sanctions.

All restaurants, bars, theatres, stadiums, coliseums, convention centres, casinos, and any establishment that serves prepared food or drinks will be able to operate at 75% capacity for indoor operations and at full capacity for outdoor operations from February 2nd to 16th. Children under 5 years of age will not be allowed to attend large-scale events, even with negative results, except when permitted by the Department of Health.

Beginning February 2nd all, venues for mass events will limit capacity to 50% but will no longer be required to stay under 250 attendees.
