Entry into Bahrain
All passengers, regardless of their vaccination status, landing in the Kingdom of Bahrain as their final destination do not require a negative PCR certificate to board.
All passengers must download the official “BeAware Bahrain” App prior to departure.
All passengers are required to undergo a PCR test upon arrival and are subject to quarantine depending on their vaccination status and the recognition of their vaccine certification; passengers that are below 6 years are exempt from arrival tests.
Vaccinated passengers with a valid vaccination or recovery certificate issued from Bahrain or a valid vaccination or recovery certificate within 8 months of a positive result from Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Oman, Greece, Cyprus, Hungary, Jordan, Israel, Seychelles, passengers vaccinated in countries that are eligible to obtain an on-arrival visa and fully vaccinated passengers with an approved vaccine by the World Health Organization and a certificate with a QR code
Passengers vaccinated in the Kingdom of Bahrain will need to have a ‘Green Shield’ in order to be exempted from the mandatory 7-day quarantine.
Fully vaccinated passengers who have exceeded 14 days from their second COVID-19 vaccine dose in the above-mentioned countries will be provided with a vaccination certificate card proving the acceptance of their vaccination status and will be exempted from the mandatory 7-day quarantine.
Fully vaccinated passengers who have exceeded 14 days from their second COVID-19 vaccine dose from the above-mentioned countries must undergo a PCR test at their own expense upon arrival into Bahrain and remain in self-isolation until the result of the PCR test is determined; passengers that are below 6 years are exempt from arrival tests.
The arrival test is subject to a BHD 12 fee (approximately USD$ 32), to be paid prior to arrival through the official ” BeAware Bahrain” App, the Bahrain eGovernment Portal, or upon arrival at a designated kiosk at the airport, where payment by cash or card is accepted.
Non-vaccinated passengers
Passengers aged 12 years and above with the Kingdom of Bahrain as their final destination and arriving will need to quarantine for 7days.
Passengers must undergo a PCR test at their own expense upon arrival; passengers that are below 6 years are exempt from arrival tests.
