Ryanair continues its heavy investment in Arlanda and will launch two more routes

Poland to Greece Ryanair Flight Make emergency Landing after Bomb Threat

A Ryanair flight from Poland to Greece was forced to make an emergency landing at Athens airport following a bomb alert on Sunday (Jan 22). Media reports cite that soon after the alert Greek warplanes scrambled to escort the flight. The flight, which took off from Katowice in Poland had over 190 people onboard.

The pilot of the Boeing 737 aircraft had alerted authorities over a possible bomb threat, as per reports.

However, the flight finally landed at an isolated area at Athens International Airport shortly before 1600 GMT, a delay of nearly 2.5 hours. The passengers were then asked to disembark and their luggage was lined up outside the aircraft.

Later, the police said in a statement that a thorough check of the passengers and the aircraft did not reveal anything suspicious.Â
