Negative Covid-19 PCR test for passengers travelling from Hong Kong to the Chinese Mainland from Feb 23

The Cathay Pacific Group expects to resume 70% of pre-COVID passenger capacity levels by end of 2023

Hong Kong: Cathay Pacific Airlines in its latest Travel Advisory issued an update on its website regarding travelling to Mainland China from Hong Kong.

In light of the increasing number of Omicron cases emerging here in Hong Kong and as a precautionary measure to reduce the risk of exposure for our passengers, employees and the cities to which we fly, we’re introducing a requirement for all passengers travelling from Hong Kong to the Chinese Mainland to present a negative COVID-19 PCR test result from a test taken within 48 hours of departure. This will be effective from 23 February 2022, Cathay Pacific Airlines travel Advisory said.
