Lithuania Updated testing requirements for travellers from abroad

Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Poland stop entry to Russian tourists through external borders

Lithuania: As of Monday, 20 December, the red list will also include the islands of Fuerteventura, Tenerife, Gran Canaria, and the French Guiana. Romania will move from red to orange (yellow).

Arrivals from the red and grey list countries will be recommended to take a COVID-19 PCR test on the 3rd day of arrival at the latest. This recommendation will not apply to those recovered if the COVID-19 disease was confirmed on the basis of a positive PCR test within 90 days before the arrival in Lithuania. Tests can be taken free of charge by registering with the Coronavirus Hotline at 1808 or 1808.lt.

Those recovered from the disease confirmed by a positive PCR test result within three months’ period will not be required to take mandatory double testing after the arrival from countries subject to the enhanced communicable disease control measures. Self-isolation rules remain unchanged – tighter requirements will apply in the case of arrivals from the mentioned countries.

Please remember that different requirements will apply to travellers depending on the colour category of countries visited during the last 14 days before the arrival in Lithuania.
