Kolkata, India: Very soon Integrated Tourist Pass will be introduced in Kolkata, a single-ticket entry provision for multiple tourist spots to make tourism hassle-free.
As per the reports, the Bengal Tourism department has collaborated with more than 30 popular tourist attractions in Kolkata including the Victoria Memorial, Indian Museum, Science City, Nicco Park, Alipore Zoo, etc.
As of now, the process is in the developing phase and once it is ready, it will be made available online (app-based) and also over the counter at designated venues.
However, the Tourism Department also planning to promote the Durga Puja idol museum at Rabindra Sarobar. The idol makers in the city make some of the most elaborate idols during Durga Puja and once they do the visarjan ceremony, these idols are literally thrown away.
