Iceland: All Covid-19 measures at the Icelandic borders have been lifted. No prevention measures are in place, regardless of whether people are vaccinated or unvaccinated.
Covid measures at Keflavik International Airport and regional airports in Iceland have also been lifted. No rules on the wearing of masks in the terminals are now in place. Passengers can, of course, wear masks should they wish to and can access hand sanitiser in the terminal buildings.
All Covid-19 measures in Iceland have also been lifted. All rules on the limitation on social gatherings and quarantine requirements for those infected have been removed.
„We at Keflavik Airport are excited about the coming summer,“ says Guðmundur Daði Rúnarsson, Chief Commercial and Airport Development Officer at Isavia. „According to information from our partner’s interest in Iceland is high and booking flows look very promising.“
Health authorities in Iceland have said that the lifting of restrictions is a reason to rejoice but at the same time they encourage people to be careful and practice personal prevention measures.
