Jharkhand to develop East Singhbhum as a new tourist's destination

Jharkhand government planning to re-develop 13 existing tourist spots in East Singhbhum district to boost tourism in the region to attract more and more local tourists s well as national and international tourists.

This time, the focus is on developing rural tourism and eco-tourism in the East Singhbhum district.

The identified spots are Dharagiri waterfalls, Kashidanga Shiva Temple, Siddheswar Hills, Satnala Hills, Kanaiswar hilltop, Gotashila hill, Kiya waterfalls, Jyoti hill, Galudih barrage, Lakhaidih, Mukhteswardham Harina, Kaleswardham and Kokda. In addition to these sites, the authorities have also suggested Hatikheda temple in Patamda Paharbhanga hilltop and Bhuteswar temple in Baharagora as potential tourism spots in the district.
