Jet2.com and Jet2holidays expand Winter 23/24 programs to Dalaman, Antalya and Paphos

Jet2.com and Jet2holidays take off to Izmir for the first time from East Midlands Airport

Jet2.com and Jet2holidays have waved off their first flight to Izmir from East Midlands Airport on Tuesday (3rd May).

The busy flight marks the start of the leading leisure airline and UK’s leading tour operator to many destinations across the Mediterranean, including Turkey, operating weekly Tuesday services to the Turkish city from East Midlands Airport this summer from 3rd May until 1st November. The start of services to this popular sunshine destination comes in response to strong demand from local customers and independent travel agents for Summer 22 flights and holidays.

As Turkey’s third-largest city, Izmir, offers holidaymakers plenty of choices when it comes to accessing popular family-friendly resorts on the west coast of Turkey such as Kusadasi, Cesme, Ozdere and Seferihisar. It is also extremely popular with holidaymakers looking for exceptional weather, great value, and fabulous cuisine. On top of that, Izmir also benefits from having beautiful beaches, the ancient city of Ephesus, and the Dilek National Park within easy reach.

The addition of Izmir to Jet2.com and Jet2holidays’ Summer 22 programme from East Midlands Airport means the companies are operating to four Turkish destinations from the base this summer – Antalya, Bodrum, Dalaman and Izmir

In addition to Izmir, the full breakdown of the Jet2.com and Jet2holidays’ Summer 22 programme to Turkey from East Midlands Airport is as follows:

Antalya – up to three weekly services (Monday, Thursday and Friday) operating until 28th November, increasing to four weekly services (Monday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday) from 6th to 13th November.

Bodrum – weekly Sunday services operating until 30th October.

Dalaman – up to four weekly services (Monday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday) operating until 29th June, increasing to up to five weekly services (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday) from 2nd June to 1st November.Â
