A new hop-on hop-off tourist night bus service is available in Jerusalem for the month of August only (Sunday through Thursday), offering tourists and visitors the opportunity to ride around the capital and enjoy the illuminations of Jerusalem’s major tourist, religious and cultural sites.
The tour, which costs just NIS 15 per person, includes a Hebrew and English explanation of the thirty illuminated monuments and sites. The bus tours take place between 19:30 and 21:30, Sundays through Thursdays in August, with buses leaving the First Station entertainment complex in Jerusalem. The full tour will take about an hour and a half. The other stations along the route for hopping on and off the bus are the YMCA, The Royal Wing Hotel and the Olive Tree Hotel. One can also disembark at the Russian Compound and the Western Wall.
