Jaipur’s fort witness a record number of visitors

Jaipur, India: As the Nation coming back to normal life, lifting most of the restrictions being placed due to pandemics. The Pink City of India is gearing up to revive the tourism industry which was badly hit by the Covid-19 Pandemic, the iconic Amber Fort in the Pink City welcomed over 4800 visitors on Sunday. On Saturday too, the number of visitors was high, with a total of 4400 people gathering at the hill fort.

Jaipur’s Nahargarh Fort also attracted a large number of tourists, with 4100 visitors reaching the site on Sunday. Moreover, travellers from nearby areas, such as Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, and Haryana are slowly returning to travel to Jaipur.

Jaipur’s monuments and museums had the highest footfall since the lockdown opened on June 16. In those last 15 days, the city received over 19000 visitors, and the number rose to a whopping 1.38 lakh in the month of July.
