Jerusalem: Israel updated its travel list which shall take effect on Monday, 16.8.2021, below is the new destination classification list:
Yellow locations – low COVID-19 risk
Travel to these destinations is permitted. However, upon return to Israel, vaccinated travellers from these destinations shall be required to enter isolation until negative test results have been received or for 24 hours, whichever is earliest (non-vaccinated individuals are required to complete the full isolation period).

- New Zealand
- China
- Singapore
- Czech Republic
Red location – highest COVID-19 risk
Travel to these destinations is forbidden, save for exceptions approved by the Exceptions Committee
- Bulgaria
- Brazil
- Georgia
- Mexico
- Spain
- Turkey
At-risk destinations
Nations including the UK and South Africa, which were not listed in either of the two categories above (highest risk and low risk) are classified as orange destinations (at-risk destinations), and Israeli returning from those countries will be required to isolate for a week, regardless of age and including vaccinated and recovered individuals.
