India to begin a random covid test of international travelers from Dec 24, 2022

New Delhi, India – In the wake of a rising covid case in china, the Government of India health minister, Manshuk Mandaviya, announced on Thursday (Dec 22) that the randomly testing 2 percent of international passengers arriving at airports for covid 19 will start from Saturday (Dec 24).

The Minister said, “The global pandemic is not yet over.. The virus is changing its face from time to time,”

“Considering the upcoming festival season and New Year, states have been advised to keep up awareness of hand hygiene and the importance of masking,” Minister added.
