Air India adds more flights to Dubai from Delhi and Mumbai

India aims to achieve net zero emissions by 2030, Civil Aviation Minister said

New Delhi, India: Indian Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia on Tuesday (Sep 20) said while addressing the All India Management Association’s national convention, that the country will have 92-93 carbon-neutral airports by 2024 and aims to achieve net zero emissions by 2030.

Speaking at the convention, the minister also added, “In the last eight years, the number of airports in the country has increased from 74 to 141 and this will grow up to 220 in the next five years.”

Minister inforemed that currently Kochi and Delhi airports are carbon-neutral out of the total 141 airports in the country.
