Hyatt announced free COVID-19 tests for guests at its resorts in Latin America

Hyatt Hotels Corporation announced in a press release that its resorts in Latin America will be providing free COVID-19 tests to its guests, in an effort to facilitate simpler traveler for U.S. residents returning residence from holidays.

The tests will probably be complimentary (limited to 2 per guestroom) and conducted on-property.

All 19 Hyatt resorts in Mexico, Costa Rica, the Caribbean, and South America will offer complimentary tests, per the press release. The supply will be in impact till at least May 31, 2021. Guests may also have the option to purchase additional tests during their stay.

Hyatt can be offering a travel delay rate to guests forced to increase their stays due to either a positive test result or a delay in receiving the outcomes.
