Etihad Airways launches sale to Switzerland from AED 999 return

Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates – Etihad Airways, the national airline of the UAE, has launched a sale on fares to Switzerland, as the country announces permitted travelers from the UAE are not required to quarantine on arrival.

Fly from Abu Dhabi to Geneva or Zurich in Economy for just AED 999 return, valid for only 24 hours at etihad.com from 11 am 9 April 2021. This fare is limited to select travel days on a first-come, first-served basis. Guests who book between 10 and 15 April 2021 will enjoy return fares starting from AED 1,999 in Economy, and Business fares from AED 9,999. Travelers can take advantage of these fares for travel before 30 June 2021.

There is no need to quarantine when traveling to Switzerland from the UAE. Travelers are permitted to enter Switzerland if they are a national or resident of Switzerland, Liechtenstein, or a national of any EU country. Visitors who start their journey in a country listed as high-risk by Switzerland must quarantine at home for 10 days. The UAE is not classed as high risk under the current list.

Etihad operates three times per week to both Geneva and Zurich, with the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner.

Flying to, from, and via Abu Dhabi is supported by the airline’s fully redesigned sanitization and safety program, Etihad Wellness, which ensures the highest standards of hygiene are maintained at every stage of the customer journey. 

This includes specially trained Wellness Ambassadors, a first in the industry, who provide essential travel health information and care on the ground and on every flight, so guests can fly with greater ease and confidence. All passengers traveling with Etihad receive complimentary Covid-19 insurance, which is valid for travel until 30 September 2021. 

Etihad announces it is operating with 100% of its crew on board vaccinated. To give guests peace of mind, Etihad requiring 100% of its passengers to show a negative PCR test before departure, and on arrival in Abu Dhabi.
