Dubai became the first intercontinental destination for Uganda Airlines on Monday afternoon (October 4) with the arrival of its inaugural flight from Entebbe into Dubai International’s (DXB) Terminal 1. The carrier is operating direct services between the Ugandan capital and Dubai on a 258-seater Airbus A330-800 Neo three times a week. The addition of a new service on the route is expected to expand choice for customers and support growth in terms of passenger volumes. The route recorded just over 300,000 passengers in 2019.
