Sacramento-bound Delta Flight 356, a 757 aircraft, carrying 185 passengers on board and six crew members traveling from Atlanta was forced to make an emergency landing Monday (Dec 26) morning in Nashville due to reports of engine problems.
According to a statement released by the airline, the flight crew of Delta flight 356 decided to perform an emergency landing after being informed of a potential issue with one of the engines. When the pilots became aware of the potential risk, Nashville International was deemed the safest airport to land the aircraft safely.
Delta later confirmed it would arrange for another aircraft to fly to Nashville to bring the passengers and crew of flight 356 to their final destination.Â
