Cuba relaxes its covid restrictions from Wednesday (Apr 6). According to the National Director of Hygiene and Epidemiology, Francisco Duran, travellers are not required to show a vaccination certificate upon arrival, or even show a negative COVID 19 report.
However, reports suggest that random sampling for COVID 19 will take place at airports, and even at ports. This will mostly be directed at those passengers who are coming in from countries with a high rate of COVID 19 cases.
Moreover, those who test positive during such tests will be hospitalized, and all COVID 19 protocols shall be followed.
Passengers must also bear in mind that other COVID measures, such as wearing masks, maintaining social distance, and even hand washing continue to be in place.
