Condor A330neo takes off for the maiden flight with guests

The first new long-haul aircraft took off today from Frankfurt to Mauritius

Today, Tuesday (Dec 27), the first Condor A330neo took off on its first commercial flight. At around 4:10 p.m., the aircraft with registration D-ANRA took off from Frankfurt Airport bound for Mauritius in the Indian Ocean. In Mauritius, the aircraft will then be received at a small ceremony at the airport.

On board the fully booked flight, guests were able to enjoy the new Condor long-haul product for the first time. On board, the new Condor long-haul product, passengers in all three classes – Business Class, Premium Economy Class, and Economy Class – can expect not only maximum efficiency but also maximum comfort with many new features. These include even more comfort, first-class inflight entertainment in the best 4K resolution, and a timelessly elegant design with lots of details.

Last Monday, the first of 18 new A330-900neo long-haul aircraft was transferred from Toulouse to Frankfurt. The final work and checks then took place on-site in Frankfurt, as well as a media and employee event, at which the Condor machine of this type was presented for the first time. From now on, an average of one new A330neo will join the Condor fleet, replacing the existing B767-300.
