There are many museums that will capture your attention if you are interested in the arts and culture. You will want to spend time wandering down the exciting downtown streets and shopping at the fancy boutiques. The nightlife in Cleveland is wide and varied and has something to offer everyone. If you are visiting Cleveland for a romantic holiday you will want to take a cruise along the shoreline of Cleveland either during a sunny afternoon or during an early warm evening.

If you are visiting Cleveland with your children you might want to take a day trip to nearby Aurora and spend some time at the Six Flags Worlds of Adventure Amusement Park. This Six Flags Park also has a water park, a marine park, and a thrill park to keep you entertained. You will find that Cleveland has some amazing theater productions for you to choose from during your visit. Make sure that you visit Playhouse Square which houses four of the most beautiful theaters in Cleveland, each presenting numerous performances each year. One of the many must-see attractions in Cleveland is the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum. You can spend the afternoon learning more about the rock and roll legends of North America.

While you are in Cleveland you will want to see at least one or two of the museums and art galleries that can be found throughout the city. Check out the Cleveland Natural History Museum or the Cleveland Museum of Art for a quiet afternoon away from the more hectic sightseeing. The Cleveland Museum of Art opened in 1913 and has some excellent permanent pieces by artists such as Monet, Degas, Renoir, and Van Gogh. If your children are visiting Cleveland with you, you will want to stop at the Great Lake Science Center where you can take part in the many hands-on exhibits that will keep you and your family busy for many hours. For a more quiet way to spend a sunny afternoon make sure that you stop at the Cleveland Botanical Gardens where you can wander around among the many flowers and plants.

Before you leave the area, take in the seventh oldest zoo in the United States. Many animals roam in their natural habitats. Among the special exhibits are the Rainforest and Australian Adventure. There is plenty to do in Cleveland no matter what season of the year you go.
