Amid the surge of coronavirus, Bihar Govt. on Wednesday ( April 14) announced the travelers coming from Maharashtra, Punjab & Kerala state have to show a negative certificate at the airport while arriving.
Bihar govt. made this mandatory for every passenger arriving at the airport from these 3 states in fear of transmission of the virus and to curb the current infection rate in the state, as Bihar reported 4,157 new covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours.
Maharashtra, Punjab, and Kerala have a highly infected rate of the covid-19 patient. Maharashtra reports 60,212 new cases in the last 24 hours, while Kerala report 7,515 new cases, and Punjab 2,980 new cases in one day.
India now combating the 2nd wave of covid-19 with a record number of new cases reported daily, In the last 24 hours India reported 1,85,104 new cases of covid-19 which brings its total tally to 13,871,321 cases and 1,72,115 deaths.
