Indonesia: International travellers to Bali now enter island quarantine-free starting Monday (Mar 7).
To travel quarantine-free, travellers must have received two doses of COVID-19 vaccine, a negative polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test result taken before the departure and upon arrival, proof of a minimum four-day hotel booking in Bali as well as health insurance.
Those positive for the virus required to isolate in a hotel or hospital until a follow-up swab on the third day. They must also have health insurance with Covid-19 coverage.
Also, travellers from 23 countries, including Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, Vietnam, US, UK and the Australia, now get a visa on arrival as long as they are fully vaccinated and test negative for Covid-19 prior to departure instead of needing to apply for a visa pre-departure.
