Voyages to the Arctic Circle and diverse North Sea and Baltic Sea routes
Summer sun in the Adriatic Sea and the Mediterranean Sea
Fantastic trans voyages, Azores & Canaries
Part of every voyage is the anticipation of adventure, relaxation, new places and people. With AIDA, the anticipation of the 2024 summer vacation can start now, because, on September 22, 2022, bookings for AIDA voyages from April to October 2024 will open.
In Northern Europe, cruises go to mystical fjords, to geysers in Iceland or to the polar region to see the Northern Lights. As many as nine ships are stationed in German ports of departure.
Among the highlights of the AIDA, the program is the voyages of AIDAluna and AIDAsol to the Arctic Circle. Kirkenes in northern Norway is introduced as a new port of call. Cruises to England, Scotland and Ireland are also very popular, as are the northern destinations of the Orkney Islands, the Lofoten Islands, the North Cape and the Shetlands, and are therefore once again featured in the AIDA Summer 2024 schedule.
For those who would like to treat themselves to a little time out, the new short trip offer from Kiel has something for everyone: AIDAluna offers four different routes with the ports of Kristiansand, Oslo, Gothenburg, Aarhus and Copenhagen. For AIDAperla, the route from Hamburg also goes high up – to Norway’s cities or to the fjord landscapes.
From Hamburg, AIDAprima departs alternately for the metropolises of Western Europe and Norway, including a passage through the Geirangerfjord. Both routes can be combined into a 14-day voyage. AIDAnova also offers so-called butterfly routes: 7-day Norway voyages and Baltic Sea cruises, which can be combined into a 14-day round voyage as well, will depart from Kiel.
The Baltic Sea can be explored on 3- to 14-day voyages. From Warnemünde, for example, AIDAdiva takes you via Stockholm up to Kemi and Oulu in Finland and on to Riga, Klaipėda and Gdansk – a real highlight in the program! Plus, the magnificent landscape of the skerries provides a fascinating backdrop. More Baltic Sea and Scandinavia routes from Warnemünde are offered with AIDAmar.
Western Europe’s rivers are the focus of two Selection voyages from AIDAaura. Guests will experience spectacular river passages of the Seine, Thames and Scheldt as well as calls at St. Maló, Rouen and Antwerp.
AIDAsol’s route connects destinations on the English Channel with the most beautiful places on the Bay of Biscay. The voyages depart from Hamburg and go to A Coruna, Brest and Bilbao, to name just a few.
Among the most popular summer classics are the cruises in the western Mediterranean offered with the newest member of the AIDA fleet, AIDAcosma. On the one-week highlight route “Mediterranean Treasures” from Palma, the itinerary includes Florence, Rome, Barcelona and Corsica.
Guests who wish to allow a little more time can discover the great variety of cities and islands in the western Mediterranean on 10- and 11-day voyages with AIDAstella.
With AIDAblu, guests experience the highlights of the Adriatic coast from April to October on 7-day voyages from Corfu. These voyages can be combined with a visit to Santorini, Athens and Kusadasi in Turkey, or with stopovers in Malta, Sicily and Crotone, and can also be booked as 14-day cruises.
In April 2024, AIDAaura embarks on a cruise around the Canary Islands, to Madeira and on to the Azores. The fair-weather islands in the Atlantic impress with spectacular landscapes and wild nature.
At the beginning and end of the season, the change of sailing areas means that numerous exciting trans voyages are on the program. Trans voyages with AIDA offer a unique opportunity to discover many countries at once. On these voyages, the way is the goal, and there is plenty of time to enjoy the varied offerings on board. For example, AIDAaura takes you from Cape Town to Tenerife, AIDAnova from Lisbon to Kiel, AIDAblu from Corfu to Antalya, or AIDAbella from Palma de Mallorca to Hamburg.
